Netflix CS is seeking a Manager for Learning and Development, to join our team in Amsterdam. The majority of time in the position will be supporting an internal customer service center which includes support of 10 European languages, technical support and workforce management.  Your main responsibility is to develop and execute on the people and learning strategy within this location. You and your team will be responsible for learning and development needs of all roles, leadership partnership, culture advocacy, employee relations and performance management. We are seeking someone passionate about helping others learn in the most effective and engaging experience possible and maximizing talent at the same time.  In addition, this role will work with our outsourced partner in Lisbon, Portugal to identify specific learning and development needs for that location, and providing learning solutions that solve for the EMEA region as a whole.  This role will report directly to the Global Learning and Development Manager in Amsterdam.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Driving people strategy with innovation and creativity. Working with the business leaders of the group, this individual will be creating and sustaining the Netflix culture within the site. A strong candidate will have the skills and experience to build a team to keep the day to day HR function thriving and executed well, and a strategic mind to focus on building a thriving culture within the site.
  • Conduct talent gap analysis within the L&D space to address performance problems, identify opportunities, and drive an innovative development approach for the site.
  • Use a structured systems approach to develop regional and/or call center training solutions offered at the individual site level. Research content and/or collaborate with subject matter experts (SME’s).  Has the ability to translate the needs of the business into development curriculum, and work through a team to develop necessary training course material collateral. Lead a team to run onboarding programs for newly hired trainers, coach and develop call center leaders.
